01st May 2008 - Romec Employee Remembered with Charity Donation
Romec, one of the UK's leading facilities management companies, has donated over one thousand pounds to The Royal British Legion's Poppy Fund.
The money was raised in memory of a Romec employee, Debbie Lee, who died suddenly last year.
Romec's Director of Cleaning Services and Office Management Services, Janet Wall, paid tribute to Debbie saying:
"Although I never had the chance to work with Debbie, I know that her reputation within Office Management Services and the recognition she received from clients and colleagues, including winning an Excellence Award for customer service in 2006, was a testament to her character. Her family held a collection for The Royal British Legion and I feel privileged that we can make a similar donation on behalf of Romec and Haden Building Management.
"The support The Royal British Legion provides to veterans, and the role they play in helping us to remember sacrifices in both the past and the present, is important. Hopefully this donation will play a part in their continuing good work."
