Romec gets CHAS accreditation extended for another two years

Romec has had its compliance for the Contractors' Health & Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) extended for a further two years.

CHAS is nationally recognised and is accepted by around 400 public and private sector buyer organisations such as councils, housing associations, NHS trusts, as well as a growing number of private companies who employ sub-contractors.

Jon Thompson, Romec's Safety Manager said: "Answering health and safety competence questionnaires for every Tender Submission is usually a lengthy and time consuming process. CHAS is, in effect, a one-stop shop that allows prospective clients to check our health and safety standards, and reduces duplicated safety applications for both suppliers and buyers."
