Chain Gang's Cheque for Charity

Four directors of facilities management services specialist Romec have raised over £4,000 for charity, following a three day sponsored bike ride.

Cancer Research UK was the nominated charity of Mike Jones, David Hylton, Derek Johnson and Dave Bowen who rode the 140 miles from Whitehaven to Sunderland at the end of May.

The group completed the ride without major mishap, mechanical failure or map reading error, even though the distance completed was far beyond the previous cycling experience of most members of the team.
