Thomas Cook is one of the leading travel agents in the UK and has over 600 branches. To ensure the required level of protection and cost efficiencies, Thomas Cook realized that they needed to work with a company with an established record and one, which was keen to make the most of new technologies.
The Solution
Thomas Cook chose to work with Romec. And we now take responsibility for the maintenance and monitoring of intruder alarm systems in every branch. To improve and upgrade overall security, we have developed a unique system of alarm monitoring - NetSecTM IP. This system provides an alternative to traditional monitoring systems and offers increased levels of security, greater flexibility and major cost savings. It also meets the latest industry standards and transmits encrypted data over a range of media, including Thomas Cook’s own IP or broadband DSL networks.
The Results
By using new technology, we have been able to significantly reduce costs. We have also been able to enhance Thomas Cook’s working practices and processes, with a team of experienced Account Managers, who have the skills, expertise and honesty to make a difference on a daily basis.
