The Council for the Curriculum Examinations and Assessment (CCEA)
The Challenge
The Council for the Curriculum Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) is the public body responsible for the entire educational curriculum in Northern Ireland. CCEA provides a complete service to their customers by combining its specialist experience, advisory skills and monitoring capabilities.
Following a review of its Facilities Management (FM) services, CCEA identified areas for improvement and began the process of outsourcing services including cleaning, electronic security, engineering maintenance, office management, churn management and project works. Excellent service delivery coupled with high security and proactive approaches to customer care were all highlighted as key requirements in the partnership.
The Solution
The service is delivered through a highly qualified on-site team and the support of a local helpdesk function, and Romec proactively work with CCEA to enhance the delivery of all FM services. This truly open partnership approach has led to tangible improvements in areas such as customer perception and satisfaction and the stretching of Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators. Romec’s approach to strategic account management ensures that the needs of CCEA are met in full, whilst Romec continue to act as an informed supplier, keeping the client abreast of the latest developments in FM.
The Results
“We are delighted with the excellent levels of service provided by Romec. Their approach to meeting all our Facilities Management requirements has always been of the highest and the work ethic of all their operatives is one of flexibility and co-operation.” Andrew Dougherty, Management Information Manager, CCEA.
