After benefiting from being part of the Balfour Beatty Graduate scheme for a number of years, Romec has decided to develop a tailor made Graduate Apprentice Programme to meet the specific needs of its business and those of its clients.

Initially, the new four year programme will focus on growing the next generation of engineering talent but will expand to include operational and support roles as it develops the future leaders of Romec.

The new graduate apprentices will get hands on exposure to the different areas within engineering - installation and maintenance of fire and security systems, mechanical and electrical building services and special projects work.

Working alongside experienced engineers, the Graduate Apprentices will learn and develop their technical skills and progress over time, tackling strategic projects and developing operational management skills. As part of the process Graduate Apprentices will also work towards a recognised Facilities Management qualification.
