Development Week
Romec's Apprentice Development Week aims to turn young people into fully-fledged Romec engineers. It consists of a full week in the glorious surroundings of Lake Windermere during July. Exercises include rock-climbing, trekking through mountain streams, abseiling down rock faces, climbing and other character building activities. During the week you learn more about teamwork, trust, support and communication, and you may be surprised by your own capabilities.

"I wanted an active and exciting job but most of all I wanted to be part of something with a great team spirit. When I got the job at Romec, as a gas apprentice, I was so happy. During the apprenticeship, I received all the training and support I needed whilst doing a job. Now, after 7 years with Romec, I still love my work and everyday is different with new challenges and I know my career still has the potential to develop even further in the future."
