Case Study: Ministry of Defence – RAF Scampton
The Challenge
We needed to:
- Transform the listed RAF Scampton into a new, sophisticated air traffic monitoring centre
- Coordinate the design and installation of all essential building services
- Deliver all work to stringent RAF procedures
The Solution
We worked with specialist internal design consultants to create the right floor space and install all essential services, including heating systems, an uninterruptible power supply, lift shafts, kitchen and bathroom facilities.
We also designed, produced and installed bespoke data cabinets and fire escapes (in conjunction with Romec Manufacturing), and ensured that all works were in line with listed building regulations.
The Results
