Case Study: Ministry of Defence – RAF Boulmer
The Challenge
Boulmer is an RAF station employing 1,000 people and part of Air Command - the military group that controls majority of the United Kingdom's combat aircraft.
As part of the station’s modernisation programme, IBM selected us to help them install equipment to monitor all traffic in and around UK airspace at this and 12 remote sites.
The Solution
Thanks to our truly national coverage we were able to meet IBM’s requirements with ease and supply all mechanical and electrical services (and associated building works) on a design and build basis.
The Results
Our works were completed smoothly and today Boulmer is the hub of the Air Surveillance and Control System (ASACS) Force Command.
